JMT Engineering provide site installation and engineering services for industrial clients across Scotland, Cumbria and the wider UK. Our experienced site teams carry out installation of fabricated steelwork, tanks, ductwork and associated plant, as well as maintenance, modifications and shutdown support. We work alongside mechanical contractors, plant operators and engineering companies to deliver reliable, safe and efficient site services.

Installation Services
We install fabricated steelwork, tanks, ductwork, insulation and associated plant on industrial and commercial sites. Our teams are experienced in working within operational facilities and can work to site safety requirements including method statements, risk assessments and permit-to-work systems. We can provide installation as part of a supply-and-install package or as a labour-only service.
Plant Modifications
We carry out modifications to existing plant, steelwork and ductwork systems, including alterations, extensions and upgrades. This includes cutting and welding on existing structures, adding new connections to existing ductwork and tanks, and modifying support steelwork to accommodate new equipment. We work from drawings or can survey and design modifications on site.
Maintenance & Shutdown Support
Our teams are available for planned maintenance shutdowns and ongoing maintenance contracts. We provide welding, fabrication, insulation and general engineering support during shutdowns, working to the client's programme and safety requirements. We are experienced in the demands of shutdown work and can mobilise quickly to meet programme requirements.
Emergency Response
We provide emergency welding and fabrication repair services for clients who require a rapid response to plant failures or damage. Our teams can mobilise at short notice and carry out emergency repairs to tanks, ductwork, steelwork and general plant. We understand the cost of unplanned downtime and aim to respond quickly and effectively.
