JMT Engineering carry out bespoke fabrication and welding for industrial, commercial and domestic clients. Our workshop is equipped for cutting, forming, rolling and welding in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. We produce one-off items and production runs to customer drawings or samples, and our welders are qualified in MMA, TIG and MIG processes. On-site welding is available for installation, repair and modification work.

Workshop Fabrication
Our workshop in Annan is equipped with cutting, forming, rolling and welding equipment for mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. We produce fabricated components, assemblies and finished items to customer drawings, sketches or samples. Work ranges from simple brackets and frames to complex fabricated assemblies. We can accommodate a wide range of sizes and quantities.
Welding Processes
Our welders are qualified in MMA (manual metal arc), TIG (tungsten inert gas) and MIG (metal inert gas) welding processes. TIG welding is used for stainless steel and aluminium work where a high-quality finish is required. MIG and MMA are used for structural and general fabrication work. All welding is carried out to the relevant standards and can be documented where required.
On-Site Welding
We provide on-site welding for installation, modification and repair work at industrial and commercial premises. This includes welding of structural steelwork, pipework, tanks, ductwork and general plant. Our teams are experienced in working within operational facilities and can work to site safety requirements including hot work permits and confined space procedures.
Repair & Modification
We carry out repair and modification work on existing fabricated items, plant and equipment. This includes emergency welding repairs, structural modifications, alterations to existing steelwork and fabrication of replacement components. We can respond quickly to urgent requirements and provide a reliable service for planned maintenance and shutdown work.
