JMT Engineering carry out thermal insulation and cladding on industrial pipework, ductwork, vessels and plant. We install mineral wool, calcium silicate and other insulation materials to the required thickness and specification, finished with aluminium or stainless steel cladding. Our teams work on new installations, refurbishment projects and maintenance shutdowns across Scotland, Cumbria and the wider UK.

Pipework Insulation
We insulate hot and cold pipework systems in industrial and commercial buildings, including steam lines, hot water services, chilled water and process pipework. Insulation is installed to the specified thickness and finished with aluminium cladding, PVC cladding or self-finish depending on the application and environment.
Ductwork Insulation & Cladding
Ductwork insulation is installed on ventilation, boiler ducting and process air systems to reduce heat loss, prevent condensation and comply with building regulations. We install insulation to rectangular and circular ductwork, finished with aluminium cladding where required. This work is often carried out alongside our ductwork fabrication and installation service.
Vessel & Plant Insulation
We insulate industrial vessels, tanks, boilers and associated plant to reduce heat loss and maintain process temperatures. Insulation is installed to the required specification and finished with aluminium or stainless steel cladding. We can work on new installations or re-insulate existing plant where the original insulation has deteriorated.
Maintenance & Shutdown Work
Our teams are available for planned maintenance shutdowns and emergency insulation repairs. We can remove and replace damaged or deteriorated insulation and cladding, and carry out repairs to existing insulation systems. We are experienced in working within operational industrial facilities and can work to site safety requirements.
